CHEMICAL EFFECTS in BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS

Welcome to CEBS

Welcome to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Chemical Effects in Biological Systems (CEBS) knowledgebase. This is CEBS version 2.0. The mission of NIEHS is to reduce the burden of environmentally associated disease and dysfunction by defining how environmental exposures affect our health, how individuals differ in their susceptibility to these exposures, and how these susceptibilities change over time. CEBS supports this mission. Terms of use of CEBS.

New capabilities in CEBS v2.0:
CEBS integrates study design, clinical pathology, and histopathology data from all studies and enables discrimination of critical study factors. Study design, including treatment parameters and study timeline, is presented and can be queried graphically. The user can search study and subject characteristics and use this information to filter microarray data. An annotation engine is available for user-defined gene sets. For more information please consult release notes.
